Motorcross Plans Rejected

Stockton Council has refused permission for the Quad Bike and Motorcycle facility at Riverside Lodge, A67, Eaglescliffe.

Three reasons for refusal were given:

1. Highway safety, due to long vehicles and vehicles towing trailers accessing the site.

2. The level, duration and nature of noise would have a detrimental impact on the amenity of residents

3. Insufficient information submitted on the impact on wildlife and the environment.

The applicant has the right to appeal to the Secretary of State within 6 months.
