LIB DEMS MEET LOCAL MUSLIMS

Stockton Candidates Jacquie Bell (South) and Philip Latham (North) attended a meeting arranged for local candidates with members of the local Muslim community.

After a formal Question and Answer Session on subjects ranging from taxi licenses to Kashmir rights there was opportunity for informal chat over Samosas and pakora.

"This was a useful meeting to hear the issues of the community", Jacquie said " We are hoping to make this a regular event for people to not only see and question the people who are seeking their vote, but for the voices of their community to be heard and build up greater understanding"
