JACQUIE PLEDGES TO SUPPORT CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

Jacquie Bell, Lib Dem candidate for Stockton South has pledged to support children with disabilities and their families. The Council for Disabled Children, part of the National Children's Bureau, are campaigning that Every Disabled Child Matters.
Jacquie has agreed that she
- Will meet with disabled children, young people and their families to discuss key areas of concern to them.
- Will raise issues of concern and promote rights and resources for disabled children, young people and families from the constituency.
- Will visit local services for disabled children and their families on a regular basis.
*Will support measures to improve services for disabled children and their families.
- Will find out how funding is being used in Stockton South to improve services for disabled children, young people and their families.
Jacquie said "This is an important campaign. For 16 years I was a specialist social worker for children and young people with disabilities and I have retained an interest in the area.. I have an understanding of the issues faced. I have helped create national Liberal Democrat policies based on my direct experiences and I would expect to push the agenda when elected to Westminster."
