Hands off Preston Park petition closes

More than 2500 people signed the petition against rebuilding Egglescliffe School in Preston Park.

At 6 o'clock tonight, Wednesday,the petition closed and at just after 7pm it was presented by 3 residents to the Mayor of Stockton, Cllr Paul Kirton.

Eaglescliffe Councillors are grateful to all those who helped with the petition in any way - those who signed it, those local businesses which supported it, the residents who took time to explain to people what the issues are, and those who spread the word.
